Document Legalization for Any Country

An apostille is an official authentication that makes a document legally recognized in foreign countries. If you have a U.S. document that needs to be used abroad — or a foreign document for use in the U.S. — we handle the entire process.

We facilitate apostille processing through the Texas Secretary of State for Texas-issued documents, and coordinate with other state authorities as needed.

Important Note

We do not provide legal advice. For questions about whether a specific document requires an apostille, consult with an attorney or the receiving foreign authority directly.

Common Questions
How long does the apostille process take?
Standard processing through the Texas Secretary of State typically takes 3–5 business days. Rush processing options are available for urgent requests — contact us to discuss your timeline.
Can you apostille any document?
Only documents issued in Texas or documents notarized by a Texas notary can be apostilled through the Texas Secretary of State. Documents from other states require processing through that state's authority, which we can also coordinate.
Does my document need to be notarized before apostille?
It depends on the document type. Vital records (birth, death, marriage certificates) issued by a government agency typically do not require notarization first. Private documents like powers of attorney usually do. We'll advise you correctly after reviewing your document.
What countries don't accept apostilles?
Countries not part of the Hague Apostille Convention (including some nations in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia) require a different authentication chain. Contact us and we'll coordinate the correct process for your destination country.
How much does it cost?
Fees vary based on document type, destination country, number of documents, and whether translation is needed. Contact us for an accurate quote — we're transparent about all fees upfront with no surprises.
