Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling, booking, or using any service provided by Uptown Notary & Signing Co., LLC ("UNSC"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all in-office, mobile concierge, remote online notarization (RON), and ancillary services offered by UNSC.

2. Description of Services

UNSC provides in-office and mobile notarization, Remote Online Notarization (RON), loan signing agent services, apostille and authentication facilitation, I-9 employment verification, wedding officiation, field inspection and courier services, witness services, document printing, and business startup support.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Present valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification at signing
• Ensure all documents are UNSIGNED prior to the appointment
• Provide accurate information when booking
• Notify UNSC at least 2 hours in advance of any schedule changes
• Pay all fees as agreed at the time of booking

5. Pricing & Payment

General notarization (in-office or mobile): $10 per notarial act, plus $1 per additional signer on the same document where applicable. RON: $35 per online notarization (the $10 notarial fee plus the $25 online notarization fee allowed by Texas), plus $1 per additional signer's acknowledgment signature on the same document, plus a $15 RON Administrative Fee for each additional signer added to the online session (an administrative fee charged by Uptown, separate from and not part of the notary fees set by Texas law). Loan signing: $150 in-office; $175 mobile — the office confirms travel for each mobile loan signing (included in the $175 or itemized separately, never charged twice). Uptown Vows wedding package prices include travel; no separate travel fee is added. Mobile concierge travel: $50 Dallas County, plus applicable service charges; $30 for qualifying Downtown Dallas Mobile Concierge appointments; $75 surrounding counties; $125 extended counties; beyond standard coverage requires a quote. Witness services ($25 per witness in-office, $50 per witness mobile, plus a $25 witness coordination fee when Uptown sources the witnesses) are itemized separately from notarizations. Additional fees apply for specialty services.

Mobile Concierge Travel Fee: Invoiced in advance. Must be paid before the appointment is confirmed. Non-refundable if the notary has already begun the route to the appointment location. Evening appointment fee: $30 for appointments from 6:00 PM to 9:59 PM (Dallas time). Overnight appointment fee: $50 for appointments from 10:00 PM to 7:59 AM (Dallas time). Appointment required. Only one of the evening or overnight fees applies to an appointment. Priority Scheduling / Urgent–Rush Fee: $15 per appointment. This is an optional service — disclosed before booking and itemized separately from notarial fees. Standard scheduling remains available without it. “Priority scheduling” and “rush” are the same fee and are never charged twice. It may be added on top of an evening or overnight fee only when selected.

6. Limitation of Liability

UNSC's liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. UNSC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. UNSC maintains E&O insurance and a Texas notary surety bond.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dallas County, Texas.

8. Modifications

UNSC may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted at uptownnotarysigning.com and are effective immediately upon posting.

9. SMS Messaging Terms
