Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling, booking, or using any service provided by Uptown Notary & Signing Co., LLC ("UNSC"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to all in-office, mobile concierge, remote online notarization (RON), and ancillary services offered by UNSC.

2. Description of Services

UNSC provides in-office and mobile notarization, Remote Online Notarization (RON), loan signing agent services, apostille and authentication facilitation, I-9 employment verification, wedding officiation, field inspection and courier services, witness services, document printing, and business startup support.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Present valid, unexpired, government-issued photo identification at signing
• Ensure all documents are UNSIGNED prior to the appointment
• Provide accurate information when booking
• Notify UNSC at least 2 hours in advance of any schedule changes
• Pay all fees as agreed at the time of booking

5. Pricing & Payment

In-office notarization: from $10 per notarization. RON: $35 per notarization. Mobile concierge: from $50 travel fee (Dallas County). Additional fees apply for extra signers, witnesses, and specialty services.

Mobile Concierge Travel Fee: Invoiced in advance. Must be paid before the appointment is confirmed. Non-refundable if the notary has already begun the route to the appointment location. Late-night fee: $30 for appointments between 8:00 PM and 7:59 AM.

6. Limitation of Liability

UNSC's liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. UNSC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. UNSC maintains E&O insurance and a Texas notary surety bond.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dallas County, Texas.

8. Modifications

UNSC may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted at uptownnotarysigning.com and are effective immediately upon posting.

9. SMS Messaging Terms

By opting in to SMS communications from Uptown Notary & Signing Co., LLC, you agree to receive text messages related to your inquiry, appointment, booking updates, reminders, and customer service.
